Cronenweth Will Be "Social Network" DOP

In their "signings & bookings" news, Variety just announced director of photography Jeff Cronenweth will be shooting David Fincher's new film, "The Social Network".

Awesome news -- considering Cronenweth was the DOP behind Fincher's stylish and dark visual masterpiece "Fight Club" ten years ago!

  4. My guess is we already "know" the rest of the crew: Angus Wall & Kirk Baxter (editing), Ren Klyce (sound design), score will be a tough nut to crack, though...

  6. Cronenweth is cool, but I was hoping for a Fincher/Emmanuel Lubezki feature~length collaboration, given the recent commercials work they've done. Oh well, maybe next time...

  8. I was also hoping for Emmanuel Lubezki to be the DP of this movie, that would spice the project up for me. But that's complaining on a high level, Jeff Cronenweth is a top notch cinematographer IMHO.

  9. However lame the story might be, it will certainly be beautifully shot.
