Now all we need is to bring Andrew K. Walker in for a dark rewrite. And Tyler Durden.
Tyler Durden and Angel Face won Oscars ;)
Fincher's "House of Cards" second episode commentary:http://vimeo.com/87980694
I've been a Fincher fanatic from Se7ev, and with Zodiac he surprised me once again with his brilliance. But in the last few years, movies like Social Network and Curios case...have been a big dissapointment...Im welcoming his portrayal of Gillian Flynn's novel Gone Girl. I dont think he should direct a movie about Jobs, it's just isn't his fortee.
I agree with you.
Just as you perceive Fincher's ”changing” (as a filmmaker) over the years... you (the viewer, the fan) change over time. Acknowledge this, and you'll never wonder again about Spielberg's/Tarantino's/Fincher's/et-cetera 's metamorphosis. Fincher was reading the "Seven" script 20 years ago.
...which - change - is kind of a point of 'benjamin button', which the OP there didn't like.
