The Social Network – B-Roll

News about "The Social Network" will probably wind down in the next few weeks, coming to a full stop before the year's out. Apart from that, we will try to discover lost gems around the web that cover the making of the film. The first comes courtesy of frequent contributor bulldozer. Thanks, buddy!

Since technical posts were welcomed, here is some behind the scenes footage of TSN's set.

What is cool about these, is the fact they are unfiltered views of Fincher at work. Just a camera pointing at him and the actors while they're doing their jobs. It doesn't get any more intimate than this.

Hope you guys like it.

Ps: "The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo" production is full-steam ahead in Sweden. Not much is being reported, but if something comes up, we'll make sure to share it here. In case it escapes our radar, please, let us know in the comments.

  1. These are great! But they're not quite unfiltered, are they? They don't show Fincher yelling at his crew, for example, as reported by Dan Boyd who helped out with the Henley sequence shooting. So the camera records (almost) everything, but the editing cuts the "bad" stuff not fit for public B-Roll. I don't think Fincher's productions are impervious to that, they also strive for good publicity and portraying Fincher as a great director, for his career benefit but most importantly for the PR that leads people to go watch TSN. Fincher also has agents and publicists, you know.

  2. I'm not gonna watch TSN for the simple reason that Timberlake plays in it.
