The New York based Museum of the Moving Image takes you down the rabbit hole, by means of a thorough analysis of four of David Fincher's main title sequences, including Alien 3 and Se7en, Fight Club and Zodiac.
Certainly a great deal for film analysts and up-and-coming filmmakers. And every Fincher fanatic will profit from seeing what they already liked with an added layer of appreciation.
Enjoy!

The one on 'Zodiac' is fairly interesting. Although its nothing to do with titles. It's an analysis of the first sequence of the movie.
ReplyDeleteVery interesting film analysis! Can anyone explain why they inserted the underwater shot of people's legs in the Zodiac analysis?
ReplyDeleteIn simple terms, they both show the killer's/letter's perspective over it's clueless soon to be victims/receptors.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the explanation mate!
