Hand Covers Bruise

Composer Trent Reznor of NIN has released the first track of his score for David Fincher's "The Social Network". The track is titled "Hand Covers Bruise", and you can listen to it or even download it via Metal Hammer's website.

Yes, it is the same 'song' that is playing on The Social Network movie's official website. And the reason to write 'song' is that, well, it doesn't exactly have a lot of melody... or rhythm for that matter.

If we should assume that this preleased track is representative of Reznors overall work on the score, it seems after David Fincher's excursion into the realm of actual musical score with "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button" he's back with the more moody and ambient noise that worked so well in "Se7en", "Panic Room" and "Zodiac".
