Director's Dialogue Interview

The season leading up to the release of a David Fincher movie is always plastered with great goodies, trailers, film clips, first glimpse here, reviews there and a few pearly interviews thrown into the mix. Today is interview day, bringing you two interviews with David Fincher (one with composer Trent Reznor) that can easily keep you busy for the running time of a feature.

Big thanks to Mark, Jen and Badkarmaboy for the contributions. Enjoy these, they are truly amazing.

I promise I am not wasting your time by introducing it, it doesn't need an introduction. Just this much: If someone decided to put the Director's Dialogue interview on a DVD (and hopefully they will on »The Social Network«), that in itself would be a reason to buy. So worth watching! So awesome!

Hungry for even more? Then consider this bonus material: Pitchfork conducted a conference call interview with composer Trent Reznor of Nine Inch Nails and David Fincher, talking about their collaboration on scoring »The Social Network«.

And by the way, if this turns out to be the cover artwork...

...it's just stunning, how beautifully Se7en-ish it is.

It's this way to the interview:

  3. It is hard to believe that movie about Facebook could be generating so much interest but when you have the likes of Fincher handling the visuals and Aaron Sorkin the words that is a pretty dynamic combination. Here is Part One of the David Fincher profile.
