+++ UPDATE 2008/11/21 +++
Dug up some video files of the interview!
Check the bottom of this post.
Brad Pitt and Cate Blanchett, alias Benjamin Button and the love of his life, Daisy, went on Oprah yesterday to talk about family, love and their upcoming film "The Curious Case Of Benjamin Button". Of course we will be on a lookout for a video of this entire interview. But for now here's a little photo gallery with a story.
Brad talks about his life with Mrs. Jolie and their six children, what it takes to be a good father, and what he would choose to do if he ever had a day of not being a superstar. Cate talks about what she likes to eat and how her body helped her find the right partner. Sounds great?
Well, it's Oprah. So there's a lot of celebrity stuff, which I personally would skip and trade for more details on the work on "Benjamin Button". But after all this is probably the biggest plug the movie has seen for its upcoming christmas release. And rumor has it in the show they did include more juicy new scenes from the film and talk about it a little more.

Well done fincherfanatic!
ReplyDeleteWell done Oprah :)
sounds like everyone in that studio got a free ticket to see the film before they taped?!!
ReplyDeletelol
ReplyDeleteI hate Oprah. All that touchy-feely stuff? Nah. It crosses the border from genuine emotions to pure kitsch.
ReplyDeleteIs Blanchett always that weird? What was that 'your bodies have to fit together' all about?!!
ReplyDeleteSounds like Oprah really enjoyed the film....or maybe she's just pretending, who knows. It is always sooo emotional on her show....
Does anyone know: Did the audience really see the film before they filmed the interview?
I'd take a wild guess and say the audience saw the same 15 minutes of footage the people at Telluride saw.
