Just when you thought that FIGHT CLUB may be Fincher's masterpiece — there's this: "Fight Club [is] a mean-spirited type of comedy, reliant on schadenfreude and the suggestion that you laugh at the unpleasantries of its characters’ existence, as well as your own."
