Post Magazine runs their current cover-story on David Fincher's upcoming "The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo", and it's a feast for everyone interested in the finer and more invisible aspects of the craft: Their two articles are detailed (in the good way) and take you through the thoughts and efforts that went into the making of the film in terms of sounddesign, editing, vfx and color.
Don't want to credit the 'wrong guy' again, so: Thanks, Robert Paulson, for dropping these links into the fincherfanatic inbox.

Good stuff. Thanks guys.
ReplyDeletethanks a lot (again) robert paulson. and fanatic for putting them up.
ReplyDelete...and thanks go to Robert Paulson for passing these along from the 'Girl With The Dragon Tattoo' imdb message board where all these stories originate. Cheeky!
ReplyDeleteDon't these stories "originate" at Post Magazine, actually?
ReplyDeleteHey, Mouthtapedshut has linked to a good article on Wired magazine about Fincher and the film.
ReplyDeleteWould it not be quicker to just have a permanent link to the imdb message board on the front page? Everything Fat Bob posts here has appeared there days ago.
ReplyDeletei'm glad you guys have the patience to check imdb message boards. i used to, but can't stand the clogged visuals any longer. i thank robert paulson for sending the links along, otherwise i probably wouldn't read them.
ReplyDeleteother than that, this is not a "first" kinda blog. it doesn't matter WHEN things were posted, what matters is that we're getting to them at some point.
imdb boards are crowded with whining loser, all about 'why is fincher doing this remake'. too many trolls and idiots on there. so: thanks, robert, for dropping the real stories here like you did.
