EW: Exclusive Look At "Gone Girl"

Thanks to everyone running this by my inbox, thanks EW for the preview: Lots of cool between-the-lines things to pick up from this little piece on Fincher's upcoming "Gone Girl".

My great appreciation of Fincher's casting instinct just keeps growing, and I get a sense that we are in for another great cinematic treat this fall — Fincher doing what he does best: being a sorcerer.

Pick up the latest copy of EW and own Fincher's cover photography IRL or if you can't, read the piece here:

    4. Fincher was awesome to meet and a really nice, great guy. I got to watch filming over his shoulder and was on the set for about 3 hours. Classy guy, as was his partner and producer. She was with me and told me all about the process and was a lovely lady. Top notch experience.

    1. The monitor Fincher is scrutinising indicates the show is being shot at 6K (top right hand corner) Or more accurately GG is being shot "at ISO 800 at 6K 2:1 with a 5:1 REDCODE RAW ratio."
Or if you meant, in general, 'why 6K?', I'd say 'why not 6K?!

    2. Take look at that monitor and see how much room they have for reframing or image stabilization.

You want to record the image with the highest resolution available. This will give you more options in post-production :)

    2. I've read the book. And I really hope they do NOT change the ending. It was perfect :)
